Name: Ngai Bik-yin Grade: Form Four School: CCC Tam Lee Lai Fun Memorial Secondary School (TLLF) Sport: Basketball Statistics: Bik-yin helped her school snatch the girls' title at the Super X Secondary School Basketball Competition last month. Her team, Lady Tuned Air, won the Nike All-Hong Kong Youth Basketball League in August. Bik-yin was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The 16-year-old also plays for local First Division side On Bong TAC who won a cup competition organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department last month. Soundbite: 'Basketball is so important to me right now. I devote most of my free time to the sport. I have a problem finding time for my studies. I don't think I'll be able to make it to Form Six. I want to become a basketball coach and I have been teaching some younger schoolmates how to play the game.' Interests: Bik-yin also plays softball and handball in inter-school tournaments. From her coach: 'Bik-yin is fast and confident. She is the key player on our team,' said TLLF coach Ma Siu-cho. Ambitions: Bik-yin wants to help her team win the inter-school basketball competition which starts later this month. She also hopes to win the adidas Streetball Challenge crown next May.
