Plucked from relative obscurity by luxury-goods giant LVMH and placed at the helm of dusty Spanish house Loewe, Belgian designer Jose Enrique Ona Selfa has become a blip on the fashion radar overnight. He has been turning up the heat on the label that was previously sparked to life by Narciso Rodriguez. 'Everything can and must be combined with everything,' Ona Selfa says of his new collection of clothes and accessories that can be mixed and matched freely. Included in the melange are chic bracelets made of brightly coloured suede and leather - or more exotic materials such as crocodile and snakeskin - with metal buckles.
