On for a spot of child's play

Parents will find the younger generation well catered for with entertainers and fun activities

Lan Kwai Fong is not only a place for adults. It can be for the whole family. The Lan Kwai Fong Carnival has a special area for children on Wo On Lane that will open from 11am until late evening on October 16 and 17.

The street will feature amusements, decorations and activities to keep the children busy, with a big inflatable castle set up for a spot of bouncy fun.

Entertainment will also be provided by clowns, jugglers and magicians, while, with assorted arts and crafts on offer, parents can leave the children to their own devices for hours.

A four-hour art jamming session will be run at the new park on Lok Hing Street on both days. Children can work on their latest masterpieces with up to 20 specially prepared canvases, which will then be placed on instant display while they are drying.

This year, Toys 'R' Us is sponsoring a 2,000 gift giveaway. The gifts will be given out in the game booths. The toy store will also have a retail booth. Train favourite Thomas and Friends will be waiting to leave the platform at Wo On Lane. There will be interactive games and plenty of Thomas goodies to buy.
