Hong Kong International School (HKIS) will open its Middle School campus in Red Hill Road, Tai Tam, to the public next Saturday to celebrate Halloween.

East meets West at this year's Pumpkin Fest, where the public is invited to join the HKIS community in its first Parent-Faculty Organisation (PFO)-sponsored event of the year.

The day-long festival, to be held from 11am to 4pm, will feature a market for Halloween pumpkins, a barbecue, homemade cakes, cookies and other treats, games, an inflated castle and live music.

The community fun fair, staffed by parents, students, school faculty and staff of HKIS, will help raise funds for the PFO and support various school projects, including Presidential and Merit Scholarships for students.
