MALLIKA SHERAWAT is best known to fans of Indian cinema for her hot kisses, heavy petting and steamy sex scenes - her body exposed to the limits allowed by censors.
The 26-year-old Bollywood actress is so obsessed with kissing that her biggest regret about shooting The Myth - Jackie Chan's latest extravaganza in which she plays Chan's love interest - is that there wasn't a single bedroom scene.
'I wanted to kiss Jackie. But it wasn't possible because the action film is meant for families, particularly children,' Sherawat says about her recent experiences of filming in Shanghai.
Clearly, the martial arts superstar cast a spell over the sex bomb. 'As it is, I like older men,' she says. 'And he swept me off my feet before I could say, 'Jackie'. He called me his 'Little Princess' and pampered me so much, showering me with presents - clothes, perfumes, sunglasses and mementoes from China for my house in Mumbai.
'He is the most caring and generous co-star I know,' she says. 'He was by my side for every shot, even if he wasn't in it. I'm waiting for him to come to India to give him his gifts.'
Sherawat plays an Indian princess, Samantha, in the production, which showcases Chan in a double role. The action hero plays a modern-day Indiana Jones-type archaeologist and a Qin dynasty general, Meng Yi, from the third century BC. Shooting has just moved from Shanghai, Wuxi and Gansu to Hampi - an eight-hour drive from the south Indian city of Bangalore, amid the archaeological ruins of the Vijayanagara empire.
