Shanghai Tang film fashion

Shanghai Tang had never designed costumes for a movie until Yon Fan's new film, Colour Blossoms, to be released later this month. The director of the movie, which stars Teresa Cheung Siu-wai and Carl Ng Ka-lung, wanted the designs to be glamorous and coquettish.

Anyone interested in the fashion/film hybrid can view the designs themselves from next Monday, when Shanghai Tang exhibits the threads used in the film. A photo exhibition also will run for two weeks in the flagship store on Pedder Street.
