Giving away more than $3 million apparently isn't enough to guarantee publicity in Macau these days. So casino magnate Stanley Ho Hung-sun has been calling on celebrities to take part in a series of lucky draws for punters at his Casino Lisboa.
Organisers of the lucky draws told CitySeen arrangements were being made for Olympic divers Guo Jingjing and Tian Liang to attend the next draw, at 2pm on Tuesday.
This week it was the turn of Joey Yung Cho-yi (right), who made a lightning visit to the Lisboa. She was joined by Angela Leong On-kei, the fourth wife of the casino magnate. They drew the names of winners of cash prizes as punters looked on.
Mr Ho himself returned from Shanghai for the draw. But after a couple of hours he headed to Hong Kong for the reception for French President Jacques Chirac.
The lucky draws are to encourage regular gamblers to sign up for a membership card.
