Four men in court in connection with businessman's murder
Updated at 2.31pm: Four people were expected to appear in the Tsuen Wan Magistrates Court on Friday in connection with the murder a 60-year-old businessman, a spokesman said on Friday.
Wong Lai-ching was found unconscious and bleeding last Saturday on a footbridge near an escalator outside Tierra Verde in Tsing King Road at 2.45am.
His throat had been slashed and there was a 5cm-long cut to the right side of his neck. Wong was certified dead at Princess Margaret Hospital later on Friday.
Four people were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with the killing. Two were charged in connected with the murder.
On Thursday, police charged two more people: a 22-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, the spokesman said.
Further details on the trial on Friday afternoon were not available.
