Win For All delivers on Ready To Win promise The David Hall-trained Win For All continued the amazing winning run of horse in the READY TO WIN stable with his success at Sha Tin last week. While the $27.50 dividend may not have been as fat as those produced by some of his 'stablemates' in recent weeks, he nevertheless did the job in solid style and has earned his place in the team. Win For All was the fifth individual winner (a total of six wins) from the 12-horse Ready To Win stable. They have been Hip Hip Hooray (two wins), Add The Fun, Sharki, Green Treasure and Win For All. The concept of Ready To Win has been well and truly validated. The stable is an assembly of horses which our experts have declared to have the required ability, look to be training well and - most significantly - are READY TO WIN! Racing editor Murray Bell, chief racing writer Alan Aitken and trackman-tipster Clint Hutchison have been joined by the Jockey Club's popular English-language commentator Mark Richards to provide you with a team of horses that you can profitably follow. The READY TO WIN team has started off as a stable of 12, with three horses consigned by each of our experts. They have been managed like a real stable, and we hire and fire the horses with some aggressive, profit-conscious management. The guidelines are that each of the horses will have three chances for the stable before being released. If a horse warrants one more chance after three runs, he may be given it. Or if his first two runs are too far below par, he may be sacked one run early. For every sacking, there will be a new horse added, but If they aren't READY TO WIN, they don't get a start. LAST WEEK'S RUNNERS: The biggest disappointment last week was Green Treasure, who pulled up at the rear of the field. Veterinary surgeons later confirmed Green Treasure to have a heart irregularity. While this was a major surprise for a horse that had won his previous start by a margin of more than five lengths, it is nevertheless now an established fact. And horses with heart problems have no place in the Ready To Win team. He's dropped. Snippedydooda was a frustrating horse for us. He ran well, just behind the placegetters, and ran the exact same rating he has at each of his previous two starts. In other words, he's still Ready To Win but hasn't taken that final step that we know him to be capable of. However, Snippedydooda has had his three chances for the stable and we are going to now let him go. Great Win showed form much more in keeping with his true ability when third to older galloper Amazing Victory over 1,200 metres. Now that trainer David Hayes knows for sure that Great Win is back on track, he can definitely win next time around. NEW STABLE ADDITIONS: KAISER'S PRIZE (4g, Canny Lad - Infatuated, by Quest for Fame; trainer Caspar Fownes): This fellow showed his first glimpse of form since coming from Australia when fourth to Winning Power at Sha Tin last weekend. His performance ratings back in Australia, where he was trained by John Hawkes, strongly suggest there is significant upward potential and he can become another winner for the successful sophomore trainer Fownes in the coming weeks. SUNRISE RAINBOW (4g, Woodman - Ariyam, by Dancing Brave, trainer Dennis Yip): This fellow has run two very good races at Sha Tin recently, and has not yet got back to his ideal distance of 1,600 metres. He'll more than likely find his way to a race at Happy Valley shortly, where his ratings will make him almost a sure-fire success. THE FULL READY TO WIN STABLE: Floral Dynamite, Golden Mile, Great Win, Hip Hip Hooray, In The Bank, Kaiser's Prize, Lightning Star, Plenty of Heart, Sharki, Sunrise Rainbow, Tiger Ridge and Win For All. THIS WEEK'S RUNNERS: Golden Mile (Race 1), Lightning Star (Race 3), Floral Dynamite (Race 10).
