Many Hong Kong men believe their wives have the ideal body shape ahead of a string of starlets and models.
Wives trailed only Michelle Reis (1) and Kelly Chen Wai-lam (2) on a top-10 list of women with the best bodies, according to an ACNielsen survey released last night.
'The findings reveal an interesting phenomenon where the 'ideal body shape' acclamation is not necessarily exclusive to celebrities,' it said. 'Hong Kong people do think highly of themselves and their loved one.'
About 5 per cent of women were 'so confident in their own figures', they voted themselves top of the table, while for some even 'Mum' got the nod.
Other fine female forms included actresses Maggie Cheung Man-yuk, Carina Lau Ka-ling, Rosamund Kwan Chi-lam, Athena Chu Yan and Christy Chung Lai-tai.
Five per cent of women nominated their husband as having the ideal body shape. But many could not shake the image of megastar Andy Lau Tak-wah, particularly housewives, 16 per cent of whom voted him the hottest hunk.
