Recruiter is hunting for headhunters
If you are a recruitment whiz who aims to ensure that the search and hiring process is appropriate and enjoyable for both candidates and clients, read on.
Thanks to the rapid growth of the market, a recruitment agency specialising in permanent, temporary and contract positions from junior to executive levels across a broad range of industries is seeking new recruitment consultants.
In the market for almost five years, Elite Recruitment's services include candidate evaluation, writing up candidate profiles, arranging client interviews, reviewing interviews, reference checking, negotiating offers between clients and candidates and, finally, after-placement services.
Due to the economic recovery, clients have started to hire more staff which, in turn, means that Elite needs more consultants to deliver services to existing and new clients, according to Audrey Lai, the company's general manager.
'The recruitment consultant is responsible for providing dual services, acting as an interface to match job-seekers to employers through identifying and assessing candidate skills and employer requirements,' Ms Lai said.
Additional duties include using marketing and business knowledge to expand company contacts, evaluating employers' business needs, negotiating terms of employment and interviewing potential candidates.
Liaising with business clients and job-seekers is one of the most interesting elements of the position. 'You get to learn a lot of things, including market dynamics, trends, changes, specified skills and products within different industries and countries,' Ms Lai said.
