Hong Kong's latest spa  opened  a few weeks ago on the fourth floor of  Central's currently trendy after-work hangout - Two IFC.

Located in the heart of the city's financial district, Pure Spa (there is another spa in  Pure Fitness on Hollywood Road) offers a luxurious escape from the business buzz below. Decorated with Thai silk wall panels and dark wood, the spa  has five treatment rooms, including one for couples that looks out over Victoria Harbour. Each room has its own changing and shower facilities.   A 'zen' relaxation room and pedicure and manicure area are also available.

The spa has an extensive list of treatments: nine facials; 14 body therapies; numerous treatments for the hands and feet, plus six spa rituals which usually incorporate at least two therapies.

It also offers a range of treatments for men. Pure Spa has  four signature treatments. Pure Obsession is a one-hour treatment that delivers chocolate and coffee highs minus the calories. It begins with a coffee latte body polish and is followed by a warm chocolate body cocoon - a detoxifying Australian clay mask containing chocolate powder and cocoa butter.

Pure High is a spa treatment that uses a Tasmanian product containing red wine, seaweed extract and grape seed oil. The acidity of the wine apparently helps remove dead skin.  As well as pampering treats, clients can opt for  cosmeceutical therapies  including the Visible Brilliance Facial - an anti-ageing treatment that increases moisture levels and the skin's elasticity.

Guests booking  treatments will also get  same-day, free access to Pure Fitness' gym facilities during off-peak hours.
