A Hong Kong youth football competition is offering the ultimate prize for budding stars - a chance to play in an international tournament on the hallowed turf at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground.
The Nike Youth Football League/Manchester United Premier Cup, which includes clubs, district teams, schools and community organisations, will be held from Fridays to Sundays over a four-month period.
The contest, which was launched last year, kicks off next month and ends in April.
It is organised by the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA), with matches to be played on grass pitches at Leisure and Cultural Services Department venues.
A total of 59 teams have signed up for the competition, which is split into three age categories.
Nineteen sides will contest the under-15 cup, with another 19 battling for the under-17 trophy, while 21 teams will vie for the under-20 honours. The draw for the group stages of the tournament was held at the HKFA offices last week.
The winners of the under-15 competition will take part in the regional finals, to be held in Thailand next May. They will take on the under-15 champions from the host nation and the other participating countries in the Asia/Oceania region.
