Firecrackers, new clothes, and sweets are all well and good for Diwali, but what better way to celebrate the Festival of Lights than a romantic candlelit dinner and a movie? Madison's Restaurant and Bar is giving away tickets to Bride and Prejudice - the movie billed as Jane Austen meets Bollywood - from now until Saturday. In this adaptation, New Zealander Martin Henderson plays debonair Darcy, opposite a dazzling Aishwarya Rai who plays Lalita, an Indian Elizabeth Bennett. Aishwarya refused any on-screen kissing, but comes up with such gems in her musical numbers as, 'I just wanna man who'll give me some back/ Who'll talk to me and not to my rack!' Couples need only spend upwards of $600 at Madison's for a pair of tickets and free Haagen Dazs ice cream. But hurry! While there's plenty of ice cream left, only about 20 tickets remain.
