Chan Lam-tai, 64, told his son-in-law, Chui Ka-hung, that acquaintance Yiu Kam-tin wanted to murder him, a Court of First Instance jury was told.

Yiu, 44, has denied murdering Chan at a house in Po Lo Che Road, Sai Kung, on September 7 last year.

Prosecutor Anthea Pang said Chan was the proprietor of Tai Kee Cleaning Company, which was contracted to do cleaning work at TVB City in Tseung Kwan O, where Yiu was a gardener.

Giving evidence, Mr Chui said his father-in-law had called his mobile phone at 12.20pm, telling him Yiu was attacking him.
