Hong Kong's leading organisation in the field of cancer services is looking for a new systems analyst with VB.net and a marketing and communications executive. Established in 1987, the Hong Kong Cancer Fund (HKCF) provides support and information to people living with cancer and assists more than 20 general and cancer-specific support groups that touch the lives of more than 10,000 people. 'The HKCF aims to reduce the impact of cancer, increase cancer awareness and ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces cancer alone,' said Ivy Ford, manager of the commerce division at Hong Kong-based agency Links Recruitment. The systems analyst will be the lead information technology (IT) professional at the fund, providing IT services and software support to staff. 'Other duties include managing user requirements, software support, system design and programming, report writing, user training, new system roll out, post implementation support and documentation.' The marketing and communications executive's duties include writing all [Chinese] communication pieces, such as website content, newsletters, e-newsletters, direct mailings and press releases, and translating all Chinese communications into English and vice versa.
