Young Hong Kong people see Canto-pop singer and actor Andy Lau Tak-wah as 'the person with the most capabilities to deal with future challenges', according to a survey. The Chinese YMCA interviewed 539 young people, aged 15 to 24, from September to October. Lau got the most responses to the question, at 16 per cent, followed by Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa, with 15 per cent. Fourteen per cent chose tycoon Li Ka-shing. 'Young people said they named Andy Lau because he is hard-working and not afraid to get back up after failing,' said researcher Olivia Chan. Legislator 'Long Hair' Leung Kwok-hung came fourth - ahead of Chief Secretary Donald Tsang Yam-kuen and Financial Secretary Henry Tang Ying-yen. The survey also found that more than 88 per cent of respondents have had major challenges to deal with. Among them, more than half said the challenges were related to school or work.
