ROCK ON Japanese rock band Love Psychedelico will perform at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre tomorrow at 8pm. The group, formed in 1997, is made up of Kumi (vocals and guitar) and Naoki Sato (guitar, bass and keyboards). They were members of the music club at Aoyama Gakuin University. Love Psychedelico, who sing mostly English songs, are known for their energetic performances, backed by powerful vocals. ART EXHIBITION A special project offers budding artists a chance to create high-quality work which can be displayed in an office. Under the Art-in-the-Office programme, the participants attended a series of workshops conducted by professional artist Gerard Bookle last summer. The lessons covered a variety of painting techniques as well as 3D effects. Their artworks are on display at the Hong Kong Central Library from today until Friday. Free admission from 9am to 8pm. BASKETBALL TRICKS American basketball team The Harlem Globetrotters will display their skills to local fans at Southorn Stadium, Wan Chai, on Wednesday and Thursday at 7.30pm. This is their second visit to Hong Kong. Their performances, which combine acrobatics, comedy and basketball techniques, have wowed audiences since 1927.
