Girls from Jockey Club Ti-I College (Ti-I) in Sha Tin swept the grade titles at last weekend's individual inter-school tournament at the Hong Kong Squash Centre.
Top-ranked juniors Joey Chan Ho-ling (Ti-I) and Chiu Ka-kei of Belilios Public School clashed in the final of the girls' Grade A competition. Ho-ling won the match 3-2.
In Grade B, Annie Au Wing-chi (Ti-I) clinched the honours 3-0, beating Leung Shin-nga of Belilios in the final. In Grade C, Lee Ka-man (Ti-I) was the champion, defeating schoolmate Liu Tsz-ling 3-2.
Among the boys, Chiu Ho-fai of King's College edged Raymond Chiu Shung-hei of Hang Seng School of Commerce 3-2 in the Grade A championship clash.
The Au family celebrated a double as Annie's younger brother, Leo Au Chun-ming (Ti-I), clinched the boys' Grade B title, beating Fung Ji-yang of Immaculate Heart of Mary College 3-0. Chan Kai-chi of La Salle College beat schoolmate Fung Ngo-long 3-1 in the Grade C final.
Meanwhile, the girls' inter-school Grade A Hong Kong Island Division One basketball competition has reached the semi-final knock-out stage.
