Silent but deadly

Hong Kong champion Silent Witness, with Felix Coetzee on board, works out on the dirt track at Sha Tin yesterday morning. Silent Witness, who has won all 11 of his career starts, competes in his first race of the season on Sunday, in the $3 million Cathay Pacific International Sprint Trial. Trainer Tony Cruz warned that his champion was better than ever. 'He came down the straight very nicely. I couldn't be happier with him,' he said. 'You can just feel the improvement.'
