A giant prawn got into hot water when students unleashed their ideas of pop art - Hong Kong style - on an unsuspecting public.
The installation, by pupils from Yan Chai Hospital Wong Wah San Secondary School, reflected the delights of Cantonese cooking and was inspired by the 'soft sculpture' of Claes Oldenburg, an iconic figure of 1960s pop art.
It was one of a number of art installations on show at the Hong Kong Arts Centre as part of this year's Hong Kong Youth Arts Festival. The 'Pop Art - Made in HK' theme inspired some 9,000 youngsters from 180 schools to contribute a wide range of art, making it the biggest festival yet.
Youngsters, including Kitty Ho-ki, 15, (right) from POH 80th Anniversary Tang Ying Hei College, Tseung Kwan O, also got the chance to design their own cans, an idea inspired by Andy Warhol. The exhibition continues until Wednesday.
