In yesterday's edition of the Post, a design error in a story on page C15 headlined 'Ryder Cup duo boost HK Open field' forced a section of the text to run behind a photograph of English golfer David Howell. The text should have read:
'Howell, whose passion for golf is almost matched by his devotion to his hometown soccer team Swindon Town, has two career titles to his credit - the 1998 Mastercard Australian PGA Championship and the following year's Dubai Desert Classic.
'His consistency in 2004 saw him finish 10th on the European money list, paving the way for his Ryder Cup debut. He certainly played his part at Oakland Hills, teaming up with Paul Casey for a 1-up victory over Chad Campbell and Jim Furyk in the Saturday fourballs as Europe raced to an early lead they would never surrender.'
