Fast-food chain Hardee's has started serving the new 'Monster Thickburger' in the United States. The burger has two 150-gram patties of minced beef, three slices of cheese and four pieces of bacon. Served with the usual bun, mayonnaise and other toppings, it adds up to a heart-stopping 1,420 calories and 107 grams of fat - and that's before adding French fries and a soft drink. The US Food and Drug Administration's recommended daily intake is 2,000 calories for an adult female and 2,500 for an adult male, with no more than 65 grams of fat. Let's hope they don't start selling it in Hong Kong.
