Besides sharing uniquely spelled corporate names, multinational technology firms ASUSTek  and TTPCom  have collaborated on a new line of compact 3G W-CDMA phones. Their first candy bar-design, dual-mode 3G handset was manufactured by ASUSTek using TTPCom's PC-based applications framework, software and development tools. A clamshell 3G phone with video telephony functions is also being developed. These products are slated for release next year.
