Aruna Parthasarathy, 14 Linkin Park, all the way. Chester, the vocalist, performs just as well live as he does on CD. He can alternate between screaming and singing instantly and still be in tune. The band's harmonising blends in well with their music and the DJ effects are well timed. Anthony Law, 15 I don't have a favourite band, but one that has left a strong impression on me is Linkin Park. I expected them to be heavy metal but they are nu-metal. Some of their songs are great and I think they are a balanced and skilled band. Vivek Kirpalani, 15 My favourite band would have to be Red Hot Chili Peppers. For the past 20 years they've been rocking with their various styles of rock. I can listen to their songs non-stop. Carmen Kong, 16 Definitely Westlife. The four Irish men's songs have tuneful melodies and heart-warming lyrics. In their world of music, there is always hope, and love is unbreakable and evergreen. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, 15 My favourite band is Limp Bizkit because it is rock guitar blended with rap and DJ mixes. I don't like heavy metal or hard rock. You might not like their songs at first listen but I'm sure you'll grow to like them after playing their music a few times. Phyllis Lee, 14 Hoobastank. Their music has a unique style and many of their songs have left a deep impression on me. My favourite song is Crawling In The Dark as the lyrics are encouraging. The song tells us that although facing problems is difficult, we still have to try our best to overcome them. Sarah Sandhu, 14 I like Good Charlotte because they are really cool and I enjoy their music. It makes me feel happy when I'm in an awful mood - most other bands can't do this. Allan Campbell, 16 I have eclectic taste so I like a lot different kinds of music like like metal, rock, pop, and screamo. Some of my favourite bands are Demon Hunter, Switchfoot, The Used and Reliant K. These bands have meaningful lyrics about God and life in general.
