After a cursed first album together, where Best of Both Worlds (2002) was swallowed up by a sex scandal, you'd think R. Kelly and Jay-Z would have finished business together. As Kelly faced child pornography charges, Jigga ran as far away as he could from his duet partner (and straight into the arms of Beyonce Knowles and then retirement).
So who wanted a second round? This time, it's ended in total disaster. A 40-city American tour that was riddled with arguments, technical faults, lighting problems, tales of sabotage, violence, guns and even a pepper-spray incident has resulted in Kelly filing a US$75 million lawsuit against Jay-Z and their tour promoter.
