The name Malcolm McLaren is synonymous with the Sex Pistols. The band's former manager also made a name for himself by running the London fetish boutique Sex with then-girlfriend Vivienne Westwood. Always keen to have his fingers in many pies, he has now turned his attention to Asia.
When CitySeen caught up with him, he was more than forthcoming on the Asian music scene.
'These days it's all about the look of the music and the sound of the fashion,' he says, adding that his latest interest is in interactive video games.
'I totally believe in the marketability of the music/video game hybrid and would be keen to work with a Hong Kong artist in the future.'
We reckon a collaboration with Edison Chen Koon-hei or Nicholas Tse Ting-fung would be worth watching out for.
