PRICES in Mei Foo Sun Chuen fell to $3,010 per square foot in September, the second drop since it peaked at $3,105 in June. In keeping with the price trend affecting most Hong Kong property, residential property prices in west Kowloon are expected to continue falling until spring, according to Brooke Hillier Parker research manager Anna Sze. ''Overall, it's a decreasing trend,'' she said. Restrictions on lending, a highly-priced market and political uncertainties are believed to be fuelling the trend downward. These factors have led to an anticipated five per cent drop from the price in June. Although Mei Foo Sun Chuen property is more than 10 years old, its proximity to the MTR means the price will fall less dramatically than some more remote properties. Once the market price has corrected, Ms Sze expects prices to stabilise.
