THE fourth South China Morning Post Family Bookshop opened in Causeway Bay's Times Square yesterday to the sound of popping champagne corks. SCMP Publishers Ltd's general manager Gene Swinstead officiated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which coincided with the building's soft opening. ''I think it has the potential to be one of the best book shops we have. It has the right location, and is well-designed and laid out,'' said Mr Swinstead. He said the group was always looking for new and suitable sites for its bookshops. Wan Chai District Officer Peter Mann officiated at the opening ceremony for Times Square. About 70 per cent of the 300 shops in the building were open for business yesterday.
