Full Name: Saint Nicholas Kris Claus Age: Over 200 years old Where he lives: North Pole Young Post: What's the best thing about being Santa? Santa: The best thing is being with children, whom I love very much. I have three children and six grandchildren and nothing makes me happier than seeing kids happy. YP: What presents do children ask you for the most? Santa: Boys usually ask for trucks, although it depends on their age. Girls tend to opt for dolls. YP: Have you ever lost your way when delivering presents? Santa: In the past, my reindeer sometimes took me to the wrong house by mistake, but since I've had Rudolf, I haven't been lost. YP: Which is your favourite country? Santa: I love all countries. Every place has something special about it. YP: Which of your reindeer is the naughtiest? Santa: Rudolph used to be very naughty, but he's better behaved now and gets on with the other reindeer very well. YP: What do you do for the rest of the year, when you're not delivering presents? Santa: I go horse riding and I used to play golf, but I need a few more lessons. I also like riding my bicycle ... which is good for someone 200 years old. YP: How many elves do you have helping you? Santa: Last time I counted, I had 90 elves. I need them all though, they are all good workers and I wouldn't be able to deliver the presents without them. YP: What question do children ask you most frequently? Santa: 'Where are your reindeer?' I have to tell them that the reindeer are on the roof, of course, but usually reindeer like to sleep during the day. YP: Where do you go for the summer holiday? Santa: I usually hang around the North Pole as it's cool in summer, but I also go to California to get a suntan and to exercise, but, unfortunately, my vacation doesn't last very long. YP: Tell us about Mrs Claus - what's she like? Santa: She's like my right arm, I can't do anything without her. I love her very much and we've been married a long time. She helps me make the toys and she looks after me. YP: Does she deliver presents with you on Christmas Eve? Santa: No, I leave her at home because it's too cold. YP: What are you getting her for Christmas? Santa: I know what I want to get her for Christmas, but I don't know if I can. Peace and love for the whole world is what we both dream of, so hopefully one year I can get that for her. YP: What do you want for Christmas? Santa: I'd like peace on Earth most, but if I can't have that, a dozen mince pies and a big piece of Christmas cake will do just fine.
