For a 23-year-old known for his youthful charm and boyish good looks, actor and singer Shawn Yue Man-lok sounds distinctly like a jaded old man when it comes to Christmas. 'It seems like Christmas was happier when I was a child,' he told CitySeen. 'I still remember primary school, when I would get to go shopping for toys at Toys'R'Us. Also my dad would carry me on his back as we went to look at all the Christmas lights in town.' Yue, who played a younger version of Tony Leung Chiu-wai's character in 2002's Infernal Affairs, has also found things are not quite the same since the hit movie. 'It's definitely the movie I'm most proud of,' he said. 'I think with movies I was able to reach a much wider audience than just with my singing. 'I was quite surprised, for example, that while I was walking down the street in Japan I'd be recognised and approached by fans of the film.'
