Chinese University has set up an archive at its library with 300 items about Nobel literature laureate Gao Xingjian, including his plays, novels, manuscripts and posters. Daily guided tours, from today to Wednesday, are at 2.30pm-3pm and 3pm-3.30pm.
colleges unite for continued learning
Seven colleges including the Hong Kong Arts Centre's Art School and the Church of Christ in China Kung Lee College have joined the Consortium of Continuing Education Institutions, set up by Polytechnic University's School of Professional Education and Executive Development in 2000 to facilitate lifelong learning. The consortium now has 16 member institutions, which will recognise each other's qualifications.

Baptist University has set up the Italian Cultural Society of Hong Kong-Leo Tung-hai Lee Scholarship Fund, with a $1 million donation from businessman Dr Leo Lee Tung-hai, to support students going on exchange in Italy to study fine arts and music.
