Spanish dancing

Four award-winning  dancers  will strut their stuff on stage during two nights of Spanish music and dancing. Each  dancer - Carmen Cortes, Alejandro Granados, Rocio Molina and Carlos Rodriguez - represents one of the four elements: fire, earth, water and air.  The show takes place on December 17 and 18 at 8pm at the Sha Tin Town Hall Auditorium. Tickets  at $100, $160, and $240.  For more information go to www.lcsd.gov.hk.

Christmas choir

The Hong Kong Oratorio Society will be putting on a spectacular Christmas concert with a variety of carols that is sure to delight the whole family. This year's concert will also feature  excerpts from Handel's Messiah.  The  concert takes place on December 19 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall in Tsim Sha Tsui. Go sledding

For the first time ever in Hong Kong, people will have the chance to  sled down a 5.4m white slope while it's snowing overhead. The Winter Sled and Slide will be situated in the North Pole Village in Ocean Park. It will be open from December 18 to January 2. It costs $185 for adults and $93 for children to enter North Pole Village and take advantage of this winter wonderland.
