Change in store for Haier white goods

Haier-CCT Holdings, which gained shareholder approval to buy controlling shareholder Haier Group's washing machine business, says it will acquire all the group's other white goods businesses.

At yesterday's meeting were (from left) CSFB director John Huang Zheng and Haier-CCT executive directors Cui Shaohua and Terry Tam Ngai-hung and non-executive director Henry Fung Hoi-wing. CSFB acted as financial adviser.

Haier-CCT will change its name to Haier Electronics Group.
