Sha Tin College girls' Grade A

hockey team (above) were crowned 2004/2005 inter-school league champions after winning 3-0 against a well-organised and talented King George V School side.

The goalscorers were Sarah Wong, Sophie Boyd and Heather Lowe.

'Grace Yung and Christie Fearnside worked seamlessly together in the midfield for Sha Tin,' said Sha Tin coach Claire Owen.

'Elaine Yip pulled off an amazing reaction save in the last minute to keep a well-deserved clean sheet. Michelle Bury dominated the defence, as she has done throughout the season.

'Congratulations on a well-deserved title, after a highly competitive season always played in good spirit.'
