If you want your kids to turn away from the Xbox or show them how to have fun with something that's not battery operated, take them down to see the annual Lego Christmas tree competition. The record height of last year's tree was 4.5 metres and organisers say this year the plastic tree is expected to grow even taller. Also featured will be Hong Kong's landmark buildings and those of other cities, such as the Sydney Opera House, as well as the Great Wall - all made of Lego. You can register which one is your favourite. If your selection turns out to be the most popular one, you just may be the one to go home with Santa - a 38cm Lego Santa, of course. The models are on display from December 21 to 30 at New Town Plaza, Sha Tin.
