A WORKER who punched a man in a dispute about jumping a queue at Ocean Park signed a good-behaviour bond in Western Court yesterday.

The prosecution offered no evidence against Chan Wai-sang, 32, a Citybus worker, who had pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Magistrate Ian Candy dismissed the charge and ordered Chan to be bound over to be of good behaviour in the sum of $500 on his own recognisance for 12 months. Chan also had to pay $200 costs.

The court was told that the incident happened on October 10 when Chan and four other men, including Chan Tsz-kin, 20, were queuing up at the entrance of Ocean Park's Raging River ride.

An argument ensued during which Chan Wai-sang punched Chan Tsz-kin in the face.
