Why you can trust SCMP

Owning a pet in Hong Kong is no easy feat, and many owners end up guilt-ridden about leaving their beloved pooches cooped up at home all day. However, thanks to a couple of dog-friendly cafes, you can take your dog out for coffee. The aptly named Rex has a cosy pet section with enough space for canine companions to laze around. The cafe also offers a grooming service, the prices of which vary according to the size of dog. On top of having your dog fed, watered and pampered, you can choose from a wide selection of accessories for sale, ranging from treats to collars and leashes. People often have coffee with their best friends, so why not include your four-legged one? If Rex looks busy, fret not, because the cute Pet's Home cafe is two floors up in the same building. There, owners can sit and enjoy a drink while their pets revel in the excitement of making new canine friends.
