The world's largest banking group, Citigroup, is reshuffling its senior management responsible for Greater China operations again, with Richard Stanley returning to head the fast-growing market.
Mr Stanley, now the head of corporate investment banking for the Asean cluster of countries and based in Singapore, will return to the mainland in the newly created post of chief executive.
He was head of China operations until June last year when Citigroup appointed Catherine Weir as country corporate officer for Hong Kong and China.
Ms Weir will take over the Asean duties from Mr Stanley.
T.C. Chan, who was transferred from Hong Kong to head the corporate banking business in Taiwan in the previous reshuffle, will return to take charge of global corporate investment banking for Greater China.
Mr Stanley and Ms Weir will report to Robert Morse, the chief executive for Citigroup's corporate and investment banking in Asia-Pacific.
