READER'S Digest Association has made record global profits for the ninth successive year. Net income was US$262.2 million on worldwide revenues of US$2.87 billion.

The results were published in Reader's Digest's 1993 annual corporate report, which shows revenues from ''other markets'', meaning everywhere except the United States and Europe, rose 10 per cent to US$399 million, but operating profits fell 15 per cent to US$50 million, largely due to unfavourable exchange rate changes.
