THE trial of four men charged with conspiring to rob a security firm bringing about $10 million from Macau was aborted yesterday when it was revealed that a juror was a Correctional Services Department (CSD) officer.

Under the Jury Ordinance, CSD officers are not allowed to sit as jurors.
Cheng Siu-keung, 33, Tang Shu-wan, 34, both customs officers, Lam Kwok-hung, 31, and To Yan-kwong, 38, have all pleaded not guilty.
A fresh jury is expected to be empanelled today.
