TRAVEL LESS, REST MORE It's good to reflect on how you can make the next year even better than the last, but for me this tends to happen spontaneously, rather than at set times. I prefer such reflection to be fluid, so if I am not achieving what I set out to do, I can try something else to make it happen. The key is not to be disillusioned: maybe there is another way. My resolution every year is to find more time for myself. But with designing and running my company, each year I seem to have less time. While I haven't worked out how to do it, this year I really want to. I would love to stay at home more, travel less, and rest more. My business is a challenging and exciting part of my life and I am not complaining, but when I sit back and look at it, I know I need to make more time for myself. Only then will I be able to help other people. So this year, I will try to eliminate certain things from my schedule, learn to say no when I need to and manage my time effectively. I'm always doing something creative in my work, so I'm not looking to take up a hobby or learn a new skill - I just need time to rest. In 2005, I hope for world peace. There has been so much fighting, such tragic natural disasters, with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer that it makes one realise it's just not fair. My wish is that the rich people of the world could do more to help those in need, because humanity - thinking about other people's needs - is the most important thing in life.
