HENLEY MANAGEMENT College will be introducing its study programmes at two information seminars - on January 20 and February 22.

The college offers a general MBA and a Project Management MBA. The general programme is in three parts - the first covers the foundations of management, managing information and managing people. Part two looks at managing marketing, performance and financial resources, while the third section covers strategic direction, business transformation, electives and a dissertation.

Elective subjects change from time to time according to management research activity, corporate feedback and the interest of students. Topics could include business finance, e-business, entrepreneurship, leadership, managing quality, inter-cultural management and competitor intelligence.

The Henley MBA in Project Management prepares students for senior management positions within a project-based organisation. Managers from technical fields can expect to gain a broader understanding of general management.

The programme follows the same structure as the MBA, with the exception of a specialist project management module in each of the three parts. These include the foundations of project-based management and project leadership, and a management project module.

Both programmes are offered on a distance learning basis. Student support is offered through the Hong Kong office and e-learning, and workshops are held for each module.
