JAZZ CONCERT Well-known jazz singer Dianne Reeves will perform at the Sha Tin Town Hall tomorrow at 8pm. Reeves' music career spans more than 25 years. She is the only singer to have won a Grammy for 'Best Jazz Vocal Performance' for three consecutive albums. In 2002, she performed at the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. She also sang on the TV series Sex & the City. VISUAL DELIGHT Multimedia artworks by students of City University's School of Creative Media will be on display at the Fringe Club's Roof Garden tomorrow and January 26 at 7.30pm. ARTISTIC CONCEPT Eight Korean-born artists will showcase their artworks in an exhibition called Orientity, a title formed by the words 'Oriental' and 'Identity'. Five of them were born in Korea, but were adopted by European families and raised in foreign countries. Their works explore the concept of being an Asian in western societies as well as within the region. The exhibition is on from today till January 29 at the Fringe Club's Economist Gallery. Admission is free. Mihee-Nathalie Lemoine, one of the artists who is also the exhibition's co-ordinator, will give a free talk about her experiences in tracing her biological mother in Korea and her artistic career.
