A NEPALESE man, caught at Kai Tak airport with heroin in his boots, had also hidden some in his body.
Aas Bahadur Ghale, 20, was sentenced at the High Court to 13 years' jail for trafficking in drugs.
Crown Counsel Alan Lucas said Ghale was stopped on arrival from Manila on April 10.
Several packets of heroin were found in his boots. A urine sample indicated he may have had drugs inside his body. The next day he discharged 100 pellets of heroin.
Ghale admitted he had come to Hong Kong to deliver drugs, which he had obtained in Bangkok. He had intended to go to Chungking Mansions, Tsim Sha Tsui, and would have been paid US$500 (about HK$3,900).
In mitigation, Mahinder Panesar said Ghale's mother was dying and he wanted the money for an operation.
