Watchmaker Audemars Piguet's Femmes du monde world  tour  held its launch at Isola   restaurant in the IFC Mall.

On show at the bar and grill  earlier this month were  nine rare antique watches flown in from Switzerland,  along with  modern pieces from the collection.

The typical drinks-and-canapes cocktail party fare  got a youthful  kick with the addition of an ice-cream stand and ice-cream men  lavishing helpings  of assorted  flavours.

Malaysian singer Jaya  entertained the crowd, along with dancers and contortionists.

Among the guests were  Coco Chiang (displaying ample amounts of jewellery), Mira  Yeh Mei-lan, Yvette Yuen Yung Man-wai, Kai-bong and Brenda Chau, Sharon Kwok Sau-wan, Balia Chan Pui-kar and Janet  Ma Tze-wai.
