The new incumbent will be required to help the general manager of marketing and distribution provide strong leadership within Blue Cross's business development, training, marketing and distribution support departments. The applicant will develop business strategies and monitor sales activities to achieve business targets, formulate sales and marketing plans, and prepare budgets and management reports.
Other duties include creating and implementing initiatives that increase the production of intermediaries for all business lines, supervising the sales and marketing teams to comply with operational procedures and control standards, and taking up ad hoc projects.
