Hong Kong students are being invited to join leaders of today and tomorrow to explore the theme of 'liberty, trust and responsibility'.

Jonathan Mueller, 21, a second year student studying business administration at the University of St Gallen in Switzerland, visited Hong Kong this month to muster up interest from students and benefactors for this year's International Students' Committee symposium, to be held at the university in May.

Twenty five students from Hong Kong and the mainland attended last year's event, with speakers including former chief secretary Anson Chan. This year, Victor Fung Kwok-king, chairman of Li and Fung, and Marjorie Yang Mun-tak, of Esquel Group, have been invited. Mainland speakers include China Development Bank governor Chen Yuan and independent publisher Hu Shuli.
