Solicitor turned songwriter finds joy in making music
Young Post: How did you become a songwriter?
Fung: I like music very much. I play the piano, accordion, cello and base guitar.
And I started writing songs in secondary school.
At first, I did it just for fun. But all that changed in 1997, when I was at university. A friend who wanted to be a singer showed my songs to the people at her music company.
Among them was Never Want To Give You Up, which became a hit by Sammi Cheng Sau-man and I suddenly became famous.
