The contest, which was aimed at encouraging creativity and English skills, was organised by G-Set English Centre.

It was divided into two categories - Creative Writing Competition for primary school students and Script Writing Competition for secondary school students.

Last Sunday, the four finalists among 25 teams from the secondary school section performed their scripts at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in Wan Chai. The plays, which lasted five to 15 minutes each, competed for the Best Performance Award.

The judges were comedian Wong Tsz-wah and Professor Bradley Gill, a child psychologist at Lingnan University.
